Lord Garvagh MRICS – Principal

Spencer formed Asset Plus One Ltd in response to increasing demand from individuals and private companies for a specialised, personal approach to their property interests.

Lord Garvagh, was educated at Cranleigh and the University of Westminster where he graduated with a Diploma in Surveying. He qualified with Healey & Baker (now part of Cushman Wakefield) after which he joined Bernard Thorpe & Partners gaining experience in the investment sector. Later he joined David Bayly to create one of the first niche investment practices in the UK and Canada before setting up Asset Plus One.

Jane Lock-Smith – cube_design – Consultant to Asset Plus One

Jane Lock-Smith is a passionate and committed architect with a vast array of experience in most building sectors, particularly education. Jane established the practice, cube_design, in 2002; and since that time, has been instriumental in the delivery of over 40 nationwide educational projects, including the very first PFI and BSF projects.

Jane is passionate to deliver the highest quality product for her clients and this is evident in the list of repeat clients that the practice has worked for over the last 15 years. Problem solving, innovative design, meeting the client’s needs and objectives, project budgets ans costs are critical to all projects at cube_design.

Emma Thompson

Emma has extensive experience working in project management, research and evaluation, lecturing and event management for organisations including The London Development Agency, Scottish Enterprise and London First. After starting her career in-house, she developed a freelance portfolio of clients spanning local authorities, development agencies, think tanks and lobby groups.

Love of motorsport led Emma to Silverstone where she was Development Manager from 2008 – 2012 working with Asset Plus One realising several major projects including the building of the Silverstone Wing and the Silverstone University Technical College. She also took on the role of Education Manager creating working partnerships with schools and universities.

Emma is a regular contributor to the popular Formula 1 fan site Badger GP and writes motorsport blogs and articles under the name Dancing Petrolhead.
