Spencer is Consultant Development Director to the
BRDC which owns the 760 acre Silverstone estate
and hosts the British Grand Prix. He is currently
pursuing local authority approval to a comprehensive
Masterplan for the estate which will finally offer the
potential to realise the inherent commercial value
of the Silverstone heritage and brand. The first
phase is a new pit and paddock complex that will
allow the circuit to host more international
motoring events in addition to the grand prix.
New university facilities are planned alongside
other commercial developments in later phases
which will reinforce Silverstone and Motor
Sports Valley as the world’s centre for
motor engineering excellence.
