Toolbank
Tim is retained by Toolbank to ensure the efficient
operation of the company’s property portfolio and its
contribution to the broader business objectives.
Toolbank is the UK’s largest privately owned wholesale
tool distributor and operates from 12 sites across the
country occupying some 400,000 square feet of
distribution space. Property is a non-core function
and Tim’s role encompasses management tasks such
as lease renewals and rent reviews through to
planning and implementing expansion and
relocation plans. Pictured is the new 30,000 square
foot depot in Glasgow, nearing completion in
summer 2008 - this move was prompted by
Tim’s pro-active negotiations to secure a special
purchaser for the company’s former premises.
